The 29th Annual Soireé Beaujolais and Beyond Wine and Food Festival is an annual Houston tradition, organized by the French American Chamber of Commerce.
In France, the Beaujolais Nouveau Day is a nation-wide festival, celebrating the delicate flavors of Beaujolais wine. The term Beaujolais actually refers to a wine growing region in central France, close to Lyon, and Beaujolais wine is a vin de primeur, meaning the wine is released only a few weeks after the grapes have been harvested.
